MUSATEL/SOS software is the Control Center application for emergency call system management. The application runs under windows.

 Main features of MUSATEL/SOS software are:

- Emergency/maintenance call attention coming from the call boxes network.
- Call boxes and emergency call network supervision.
- Call boxes tests and emergency call network tests.
- Handling of the emergency call system data base.
- Emergency call system event log.
- Handling of incident reports.

MUSATEL/SOS software handles three types of emergency call networks:
1) Network controlled by FEI RS232 and audio connected to the Control Center computer over serial port.
2) Netwotk controlled by Optical FEI IP connected to the Control Center computer over TCP/IP.
3) IP Network: front end is a software functionality included in MUSATEL/SOS Control Center software.

MUSATEL/SOS software provides the user interface towards integrated PA system. MUSATEL/SOS application handles SOS emergency call system as well as integrated PA system, making the system operation more user friendly. PA announcements are made by the operator by means of a microphone connected to the PC sound card. Voice communication with the SOS call boxes is made by means of an USB headset connected to the management PC (or headset connected to an auxiliary sound card of the management PC).
